The Amish Family Cookbook by Jerry and Tina Eicher ~ FIRST Wild Card Blog Tour and Review

The Amish Family Cookbook

My Review: In the words of my brother "Everything tastes better Amish!"

Best-selling author Jerry Eicher and his wife, Tina, have put together a lovely cookbook filled with wonderful recipes and Amish sayings. And I am happy to say that my family and I, loved every recipe we tried.

In my family it is hard to find something that we all love, and my brother is more than a bit hard to please in that department. But we found a winner in more than a few recipes, which is rare for us, because we normally only find one or two recipes we actually like in the usual cookbook. Not only did we find new recipes like Biscuit Pizza Bake and Lasagna Soup, but we found inprovements on favorites like Moist Banana Bread and Oven Fried Chicken that had a perfectly crispy skin!
My brother and I especially liked the Filled Chocolate Cupcakes!

This is a cook book full of recipes that we will be sure to use over and over again, and if we only love theses six recipes we have tried it will be well worth it. But there are so many more recipes that I am itching to try! A great cookbook that I highly recommend!

I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
