Though My Heart is Torn by Joanne Bischof ~ Review

Though My Heart Is Torn (The Cadence of Grace #2)
My Review: A heart-rending read that had me glued to the pages!

Lonnie and Gideon have finally found love, but will it all be destroyed by a mistake Gideon made in his youth?

I absolutely loved this book! Heartbreaking and beautiful, this continuation of Lonnie and Gideon's story captured my heart in a completely unexpected way.

Written in a smooth flowing style, Though My Heart is Torn drew me to the story from the very first.

Lonnie and Gideon were tested very much to their limits, and were left with little but God to rely on, their faith even in the roughest, and worst of times was nothing short of courageous. Even Cassie, a character I was pretty sure that I wasn't going to like, had won me over in the end, as she grew in her faith.

I wouldn't pick this book up without reading its prequel Be Still My Soul first because it will make this book so much more compelling. Plus missing out on Be Still My Soul would just be a shame.

Overall, Though My Heart is Torn was a character driven novel, that featured characters of extraordinary, everyday, genuine faith. I highly recommend this book, is was a beautiful journey, full of heartbreak, with triumphs to come, with an ending that made me not want to wait six more months for the next book! Laced with longing, forgiveness, and faith, Though My Heart is Torn is a book I will not soon forget!

I received this book from the author and publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
