A Family for Christmas by Winnie Griggs ~ Review

A Family for Christmas

Lucie's Review:
Eve get's off the train at Turnabout, Texas to keep Leo, a stowaway orphan from being put in jail.
Chance comes to Eve and Leo's rescue by offering them rooms at his establishment, and he even goes as far as to find a proper chaperone, Ms. Dolly, a widow who's home recently burned to the ground.
Chance and Eve both have secrets from their pasts, that could poison their futures, can it all be made right by Christmas?

For those of you who may have read the previous books in the series, you will be happy to see many of the previous characters coming back to give a Chance and Eve a warm Texas welcome.

Chance was such an honest, genuine man, with a big heart. And Eve was a kind, timid young woman, finally finding her wings.
One of the best characters in the book was Ms. Dolly, who was just full of good advice, wisdom and tied everything together.

Overall, a  heartwarming story, full of Christmas spirit and family, sure to get you ready for the holiday season!
