December Bride by Denise Hunter ~ Review

A December Bride (A Year of Weddings, #1)

Lucie's Review:

Seth has a problem.

He likes Layla, the girl who was going to marry his friend Jack until Jack met her cousin Jessica. Now Jack and Jessica are getting married and Layla needs a wedding date. And even though Seth is the last person she would choose to take her to the wedding she finally decides that there are no other options, and it is better than going alone. Can Layla find love after all?

This is a fun easy to read short story. It engages quickly, and the plot fits the length of the story. There is plenty of good interaction between the characters, and romantic tension. The characters were very likable, making me cheer for them from the beginning.

Overall, a sweet read that I read in one sitting. Sometimes you need a quick charming read, and this one fit the bill perfectly. I would definitely recommend this novella :)
