Baby Wren and the Great Gift by Sally Lloyd-Jones and illustrated by Jen Corace ~ Review

Baby Wren and the Great GiftMy Review:

Baby Wren sees the other animals as they go about their way, swimming, diving, and cartwheeling along--but little Wren can't do those things. Will Baby Wren find her gift?

A lovely read, with stunning water color illustrations of God's creation. Little Wren sees her fellow creatures, finding joy in their unique talents, and longs to join them, but she doesn't have fins to swim or the right appendages for climbing. Yet she keeps looking, and finds joy in the beauty of the world God created.

Overall, a lovely poem that explores how we are each created with different gifts and abilities, each beautiful in their own way, and definitely not the same! And the lovely illustrations compliment the story perfectly. A lovely and heart warming read.
