Mystery Child by Shirley McCoy ~ Review

Mystery Child (Mission: Rescue #5)Lucie's Review:

Quinn Robertson calls her ex-marine brother, August, with the surprise that their sister, Tabitha dropped off.
Malone Henderson is there to help when Quinn get's run off the road on the way to her brother's house. Malone is a member of HEART, a private security team that specializes in extracting people from difficult situations. He helps Quinn get Jubilee into protective custody, but he can't shake the feeling that their troubles aren't over yet...

I liked Quinn, she's been through a lot in the few years, with the loss of her husband and dealing with the medical bills. She has a heart for children and agrees to take Jubilee even though she hasn't seen her sister in years.

Malone is great at his job and serious about helping people. He's determined to protect Quinn, even though he's technically on vacation!

A fast paced, action filled story. I loved how Quinn and Malone encouraged each other throughout, and worked together to solve the mystery and protect Jubilee. I loved seeing some characters from past books when the rest of HEART showed up to help. A wonderfully engaging read with a fire cracker ending.
