Holiday Amnesia by Lynette Eason ~ Review

Lucie's Review:

Dr. Robin Hardy is a part-time professor and research scientist, she was working late one night at the lab, when she overhears an argument that turns deadly. Robin manages to escape the explosion, but she can't remember anything.

Toby Potter is there outside the explosion, and whisks Robin away to safety. He is a former CIA agent, and he and Robin had been close before she found out what he was up to, now all he wants to do is keep her safe. He takes her to Wrangler's Corner, and gets some help from local law enforcement to keep her safe.

Robin can't remember the reason why someone is threatening her life, will they be able to unravel the mystery before it's too late?

Robin slowly begins to regain her memory, and she holds tight to her faith throughout. She's clever and determined, facing her failing memory bravely.

Toby is a man of integrity, and I like how he doesn't act on his feelings for Robin while she still doesn't remember everything.

Overall, a fast paced read, with great relationship growth, and dialog. I loved returning to Wrangler's Corner, and I loved how Toby and Robin both are quick thinkers, and use their heads to get them out of tough situations. Action-packed ending, highly enjoyable and suspenseful read!
