Review: Dan Whitlock was a young troublemaker when he broke Bailey Quinn's heart, now years later he wants to make things right.
An engaging story of second chance, faith, and forgiveness. Well written, with a great backstory that is revealed over the course of the story. I really liked both of the main characters, especially Dan and how his life changed through faith in God and the help of good friends. Dan isn't the young man he used to be, and when he sees Bailey again, he realizes that he wants to prove to her that he's changed.
Bailey has moved on with her life since Dan, and is working to make her dream a reality. She loves her hometown and working with children.
There's a lot going on in this book, I liked how Dan and Bailey's current lives and past come together, as well as how far each of them have come. Fantastic plot, great side characters, I loved how Dan and Bailey's relationship grew naturally over the course of the story. I really loved how well Bailey and Dan's faith was shown in this story, and how much it meant to them. Great emotional and spiritual depth, as well as how it played out realistically in the story. Highly enjoyable read from beginning to end full of faith and second chances.
