The Cowboy's Christmas Blessings by Jill Kemerer ~ Review

Lucie's Review:

A family for Christmas.

Rancher Judd Wilson sees that widowed single mother, Nicole Taylor and her young triplets need a place to stay, so he offers the cabin on his property. Judd has been alone for a long time, and is surprised by how much he is enjoying having the babies and Nicole around. Nicole does what she can to help out, offering to cook, and working to find a way to support herself. I loved how their friends were so supportive of Nicole and wanted to help her feel at home in Wyoming again.

Judd is a good man, hardworking and generous. I liked how he and Nicole were comfortable with each other right away, their friendship grows naturally and Judd is wonderful with the children. Judd is stable and reliable, even though he isn't one for dramatic gestures, I like that he isn't a smooth talker, but is steady and sincere. I admired his faith, and generosity.

Nicole has been through a lot in the last year, she is hard-working and industrious, and being on the receiving end of so many people's kindness is difficult for her. I admired her strength, and honesty with herself, as she finds her faith tested and strengthened.

A heartwarming holiday romance about family, faith, community, and second chances. I loved the character interaction and relationship building in this book, as well as the kindness of friends and community members. A sweet and enjoyable read, just in time for Christmas time.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
