New beginnings and hope in the face of loss, Someone Like You, is an inspiring, faith-filled romance based on the novel of the same name by best-selling author, Karen Kingsbury.
Heartbroken and searching for answers after the sudden loss of his best friend, Dawson Gage tracks down her long long sister. He never expected to fall in love.
A heartfelt film that explores family dynamics and faith in the midst of grief. I liked how the movie didn't shy away from strong themes of faith throughout, which is a huge benefit of Karen Kingsbury producing her own films. It also did a good job of dealing with a complicated subject with grace, and I liked how both sets of parents did an amazing job raising their girls with faith in a loving home.
Overall, a faith-filled, clean romance, with a resounding message of love, family, and holding to faith. Highly enjoyable, with a talented cast, and compelling storyline.
