Behind Enemy Bylines by Kathleen Fuller // Review

My Review:

A second chance, enemies-to-lovers romance in this small town, early 2000's romance.

Jade is a focused reporter given the job of convincing Sebastian Hudson to sell his small town paper to a larger market holder. Jade wants to pretend the past didn't happen, but as their feelings for each other resurface Sebastian begins to see their past in a new light.

Jade has always had a lot on her shoulders, carrying guilt for thing beyond her control, she tries to stay within the lines that she has drawn for herself. Sebastian is struggling to keep his small paper open, I liked how he always tried to be positive and think the best of Jade, offering a shoulder of support to depend on.

Engaging and heartwarming, I liked seeing Jade grow to heal the pain in her past, and reconnect with Logan. Feel good romance, with heartwarming themes of forgiveness.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
