A January Bride by Deborah Raney ~ Review

A January Bride (A Year of Weddings, #2)Lucie's Review:

Madeline is a novelist looking for a place to write, so she takes her friend, Ginny's offer to stay at the charming bed and breakfast owned by Ginny's friend, Arthur.

Love can bloom in the most unexpected places...

This story is different than most novellas because the main characters don't meet right away, yet they write each other notes and we get to see what brings them together. It is funny to see the assumptions that they make about the people they are writing to! Which is quite understandable, as a spry older lady by the name of Ginny sets everything up :)

Part of what keeps the story moving is wondering when they will finally meet.

Overall, this works wonderfully as a short story and I loved both the characters and Ms. Ginny! Such a sweet tales, well worth the read :)
