The Amish Spinster's Courtship by Emma Miller ~ Review

Lucie's Review:

Lovey Stutzman is the last of her family to move to Hickory Grove, she has always been the responsible, more serious sister. But she accepts her sister's dare to go on a buggy ride with Marshall Byler, to prove that she isn't all serious. She thinks that there isn't any danger since there's no way a guy like him would take notice of her as no ever has before, so she keeps brushing him off.

Marshall is smitten with Lovey, he's never had to work this hard to charm a girl before. Marshall cares for his grandmother and younger brother, who is a genius. His grandmother is quite the matchmaker, and already has another woman in mind for her grandson.

I really enjoyed this sweet Amish romance, Lovey is a very kind and straight spoken woman. She is sensitive to others' feelings and potential awkward situations, and is very unassuming throughout.

There are some really great humorous moments, and a strong sense of family. I love how close Lovey and Marshall are to their families, and the respect that they have for each other right from the start.

Overall, a really enjoyable read, with great interaction and great comedic timing. I really liked her family and his grandmother. Marshall is a strong and straightforward man, and very respectful. This is definitely one that you won't want to miss!
