She has a gift for training horses, which makes it difficult for her to fit in amongst her community as her colleagues are men.
Jack grew up among the Amish, so the case brings back all sorts of memories for him. He is drawn to Grace, and finds that she is understanding and easy to talk to, and in turn he understands the pressures that she faces.
A suspenseful read the brings the modern world and Amish lifestyle together in this high stakes adventure. Enjoyable read, with strong characters that question norms, and fight for love.
