An adventurous first part of a brand new series, Ms. Busse weaves a fantastical world of science and innovation at the same time stagnant with study on the most pressing problem that their people face forbidden. I admired Theo for his passion to find answers and discover the reason for the mist, he has a curious mind, and doesn't shy away from danger.
A fast paced read, with excellent characters, a well crafted plot, and genuine character growth and interaction. I didn't want to put this book down once I started. A high flying steampunk/sci-fi adventure, I couldn't have asked for more, and I can't wait to find out what happens next! Highly recommend!
