The Librarian's Journey by Patty Smith Hall, Cynthia Hickey, Marilyn Turk, Kathleen Y'Barbo // Review

Lucie's Review:

Love's Turning Page by Cynthia Hickey
Grace Billings takes a job as a pack horse librarian, and finds her heart captured by the people of the Ozarks and their thirst for learning. I loved Grace's heart for the children, and how she goes beyond the call of duty teaming up with the local schoolteacher. A wonderful read, with compelling characters, and a heroine that you can cheer for all the way through.

In This Moment by Patty Smith Hall
Ruth Sims takes a job as a packhorse librarian, when she is laid off from nursing. I loved how she used her gifts and passion to help others helping them heal through body and soul. A sweet second chance romance, with great characters.

Book Lady of the Bayou by Marilyn Turk
Librarian Lily Bee travels by boats and mule, delivering books to the people long the bayou. Her heart is captured by a little patron, Evie and her father. Lily is well prepared, and I loved the care that she took with packing her selections and supplies for her runs. A sweet story of finding hope and taking a chance on love.

The Lawman and the Librarian by Kathleen Y'Barbo
Lottie Trent finds herself in the middle of an investigation that brings her face to face with her former flame. An engaging story, with many moving parts, faith, humor, great interaction and a second chance at romance.
