My Review: 

An uplifting film based on a true story about a family's ups, downs, and the relationship between a father and son. 

Austin is a unique child right from the start, with a diagnosis that would put any parent on edge. But it is his indomitable positive attitude that lifts the spirits of those around him. I loved how Austin's brother Logan, stood up for him and courageously endured his own challenges. 

Zachary Levi shines as Austin's father, Scott, a man who fiercely loves his son, but is fighting his own demons. And even when things are tough he tries his best to be there for his family.

A well done film, great for families with older children. I like how it tells the story of a family going up against the odds, with a hefty dose of humor, and a subtly growing message of faith throughout. It does a good job of exploring relationships and how people deal with the challenges they face. The film deals with instances of alcoholism, bullying, and mild language well, and I think it could be a good conversation starter for parents on these topics. Even through the hard times, there is a thread of hope throughout this uplifting film of family and faith. Highly recommend!
