Lucie's Review: 

Hunter Shelton is swept into a whirlwind of crime and intrigue when he and his search and rescue dog respond to an alert, that has more personal implications than he imagined. He enlists the help of DEA agent, Marlee Price the only person he knows to call to help them find the killer and the missing little girl. 

A high stakes read, with a lot going on. Marlee and Hunter are old acquaintances who don't have the best history together. But they must put that aside to get to the bottom of who is behind the murders and taking the young girl. Marlee and Hunter both have well trained dogs, with strengths in different disciplines, I liked that they worked together, finding clues along the way to build the case. 

Overall, a engaging read likable lead characters, a high stakes case, and a lot going on. I admired their perseverance and faith, even when it wasn't easy. A suspenseful read, with second chance romance, and themes of trusting God.
