Rancher's Refuge by Linda Goodnight ~ Review

Rancher's Refuge
Lucie's Review:

Austin owns the ranch that borders the legendary Whisper Falls, where it is rumored that if one prays behind the waterfalls, that the prayer will be answered. But Whisper Falls brings unwanted tourism. At least where Austin is concerned. Austin just wants to be alone after the death of his wife, but God has other plans.
Annalisa is running from her past, when she runs into Austin. Austin sees that Annalisa is troubled, and he and his sister, Cassie take her in. Will Annalisa be able to help soften Austin's heart?

An engaging tale, about overcoming the past and the pain of holding to hurtful things. The characters were well done and I loved Annalisa slowly was able draw Austin out of his shell and help him fit into the town.

There was some suspense with Annalisa's past and Austin's coming back to haunt them. But for sure this book engaging and it captured the small town romance feel, with a strong theme of forgiveness and letting go of the past.

Overall a book I would happily recommend!

I received this ebook from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thanks!
