Joann is the baby of her family, and after the death of her parents her brothers devise a plan to have to move in with each of them for 4 months at a time. She's been moved around so much that she's never really felt like part of a community. Joann finally finds a way to gain her independence from this continuous cycle, when she loses her job to Roman Weaver, a rather grumpy man who was injured in a buggy accident.
But will mystery letters bring friendship to both of them?
I'm not the biggest fan of Amish romances, but I absolutely adored this one! This book was so charming and funny. Roman and Joann were both stellar main characters, with depth and charm that made me love them.
I loved the charm and humor in this book that kept me smiling til the end. This was a sweet, highly engaging read with a great message of trusting your plans to God.
Overall, one of my all-time favorite Amish books that I have read so far, you'll definitely want to pick this one up!
I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
