Lucie's Review:
Marisa St George has come to Dupree, Texas to work as the business manager at Rainbow's End. Kate and Greg are getting married, and they are returning the resort to a Christian focus.
Blake Kendall is a friend of Greg's and has moved to Texas. While at the wedding Marisa recognizes him as the famous author, Ken Blake. Blake decides to stay on at Rainbow's End.
Can love at first sight be lasting?
I like how this book also tells Lauren's story. Lauren is a widowed friend of Marisa's with a 7 year old daughter who wants a dad. And that's when God brings Drew into their lives...
There is also a strong theme of reconciliation, and family. I really liked how I got to go back and "visit" Kate and Greg, and also how this book focuses on bringing people together.
My favorite character was Blake, because of his genuineness and care for those around him.
Overall, a great book with great dialogue about forming new bonds and ties, and mending old bridges.
