Picture Perfect Love by Melissa McClone ~ Review

Picture Perfect Love: A June Wedding Story (A Year of Weddings Novella 2, #7)
Lucie's Review:

Jenna has a photography studio in her home called, "Picture Perfect Photography." She specializes in wedding photography even though her own wedding was once called off when the groom left her at the alter after the rehearsal. not only did he abandon her at the alter, but he left he with all the bills from the fancy, upscale wedding that he wanted to go along with his political ambitions...
Can Jenna still have a happily ever after?

This is a well written novella, that though short in length, packs a large emotional punch. I loved how I was quickly drawn to the characters and their plights. I really liked Toby the guy that Ashton's sister marries, as it is his idea to hire Jenna, he is a really genuine guy and very understanding.

Jenna has come a long way since Ashton dumped her, and she has found a wonderful church home that has helped her grow in her faith and straighten out her finances after the non-wedding.

Overall, a fantastic read. I was drawn to the characters instantly, and was hooked almost immediately. I loved the poignant back story, and how themes of faith, family and reconciliation were woven into the story. Highly recommend!
