Hours to Kill by Susan Sleeman // Review

Lucie's Review:

Homeland Security Agent Addison Leigh wakes up in the hospital having lost her memory, she doesn't remember the lead she had on her current case or her ex-husband Mack.

Still listed as Addison's closest of kin, he gets the call that she is in the hospital. Mack knows that he has let her down in the past, but he vows to do everything he can to protect her and catch the person who has been threatening her life.

A fast paced read with instantly likable main characters that pull you into the story. Action packed, with great character interaction and an adorable German Shepherd who is a basket of cuddles and intelligence. I liked how the incident brings Mack and Addison together, along with her memory loss that helps them tackle the issues that drove them apart.

Overall, a fantastic read from beginning to end, suspenseful and full of action. I loved how well the faith elements and relationship building come together in this second chance romance mixed with heart pounding suspense.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
