I'll Be Seeing You by Robin Lee Hatcher // Review

My Review:

A dual timeline novel that tells a generational story  of grace and love.

Brianna Hastings is working on a college assignment so she asks her grandmother to tell her about life during WWII. What unfolds is a story of two sisters, a choice that changes their lives about love, sacrifice and the power of God's grace.

A masterfully told story that is an excellent example of why Robin Lee Hatcher is one of my favorite authors, I grew up reading her books and am still reading them now! I loved the strong themes of faith and the impact of the choices that we make, as well as how Daisy's story from the past is an excellent companion to Brianna's in the modern day. I really enjoyed how the story follows 5 characters, as they grow and change over the course of story. I think that I was most surprised by Brandon, but my favorite was Todd hands down.

Overall, a compelling story of faith, heartache and God's wonderful gift of grace. My heart broke with Daisy, and it was cool to see all the wonderful things happening in her life and how she grew and learned to make choices that would bring strength to her family. Highly recommend this beautiful novel!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
