My Review:

A heartwarming celebration of adoption based on a true story.

David has known his whole life that he was adopted, but when he gets the opportunity to connect with his birth mother he finds himself on a journey uncovering the secrets of his past.

As an adoptee I enjoyed watching this film with my parents, and I loved how it showed the power of adoption and how it is a wonderful picture of what God does for us. An emotionally charged film that does a great job of injecting humor to this poignant tale. I liked how supportive of David his parents were throughout the film, as well as how his best friend showed up for him in his own unique ways.

Overall, a wonderfully rendered film that does an excellent job of celebrating adoption while dealing well with difficult topics in this powerful film. A well made film, with an excellent cast, high quality all the way round, that doesn't skimp on the message of faith. Definitely worth seeing!
