Lucie's Review:
It's been 10 years since Ava lost Ryan. When Ava goes to her old college reunion she meets up with her nemesis Seth Walker, where they exchange contact information and begin a correspondence.
Seth is following his dream of returning to his hometown and restoring an old building into a restaurant. When Ava doesn't get the new job she was hoping for, Seth invites her to Maple Valley, IA.
I loved the interaction between Seth and Ava, even after Ava comes to Maple Valley they continue to correspond through email yet keep their friendship in check because Seth has a girlfriend back in Chicago.
Overall, this was a wonderfully unexpectedly rewarding read, about when to hold on and when to let go.
