Amelia has raised her nephew ever since his mom died after losing the battle to cancer. So I really liked how Braeden quickly bonded with little Max, saving his life, and even teaching him to swim. I loved how he was a heroic, honest, and honorable man in every part of his life.
I loved the relationship between Amelia and Braeden, Amelia is all about family and roots, and she is really close to her family, and let Braeden into her life, very straightforward and genuinely.
This is a wonderful book, with a quick hook, fast pace, and funny with plenty of great character interaction. Highly recommend it!
