Review: Have you ever wondered if homeschooling was an option for your family, but you have your doubts?
Kirk Cameron shares his insights as well as talks to other homeschooling families about the challenges and benefits of homeschooling as they have watched their children grow and thrive. This is a fun film targeted at people who are considering homeschooling or are new to it, especially as the last few years' events thrust a lot of families into situations that made them seriously consider homeschooling for the first time. In the film we see many different families with various levels of experience, share the reasons why homeschooling is right for them, their doubts, and encouragements for others.
As a homeschool graduate myself, watching this was pretty much preaching to the choir, though I do believe that this is a encouraging film and is perfect for the target audience. I thought that the film did an excellent job of showing the variety of homeschooling, as well as how it helps to foster strong family bonds. It was so fun to see all the different families and the ways that they were able to give their child a unique education that gave them everything they needed, but also fed their strengths to help them flourish.
A must see for people wondering about homeschooling, filled with encouragement and true stories from a variety of families.

ReplyDeleteI was homeschooled for 8th, 9th, and 10th grade. Before it was public school, after was virtual (public) school. So I've tried a little of everything. They each have their advantages and disadvantages.
