Jedidiah's Bride by Rebecca Kertz ~ Review

Jedidiah's Bride (Lancaster County Weddings #2)

Lucie's Review:

Jedidiah Lapp meets Sarah Mast while visiting Delaware to sell some of his woodwork. After driving Sarah home from the singing he goes back to Pennsylvania fearing that he will never see her again.

Sarah is a good daughter who has been caring for her twin brothers ever since her mother's health began to fail. When it is discovered that her mothers needs heart surgery, her parents decide to send her and her brothers to Happiness, Pennsylvania to stay with their uncle and aunt. Sarah makes new friends and tries to make the best of a difficult time.

Will Jed and Sarah be able to make their love work?

Jed is a good man who wants to marry a woman that he truly loves, and he thinks that he can find that with Sarah. I loved how he was very understanding of their situation and Sarah's obligation to her family.

This is a sweet Amish love story, set in a picturesque community, filled with kind people who are always willing to lend a hand and give comfort where they can.

This is a pleasant Amish read with great characters, and plenty of humorous moments to keep a smile on your face.
