The Bachelor's Twins by Kathryn Springer ~ Review

The Bachelor's Twins
Lucie's Review:

Liam Kane works with his brothers, Aidan and Brandan, running Castle Falls Outfitters. Liam designs and builds canoes that they sell for guided trips on the river. Liam and his brothers still live with the scars of childhood abuse that they overcame with the help of their adopted mother, Sunni, and her late husband. Some people in Castle Falls still hold their past against them. Liam knew Anna Leighton in high school but has avoiding her ever since she came back to town because of an awkward situation that happened at senior prom.

Cassie and Chloe Leighton want to get their hardworking mom the perfect gift for her birthday, and settle on a canoe trip, and Liam ends up being their guide. Liam is great with the girls, and helps them earn a pin for Sunflowers, a group they are a part of at church.

Anna Leighton comes home to Castle Falls after the death of her husband to run the family ice cream shop, but her dream is to make jewelry. She is highly involved in church and the community. She's even helping with her class reunion.

Sunni loves her boys, and isn't above plying matchmaker if she thinks it is in their best interests. She volunteers to help watch the girls. I love how she celebrates the simple things, and encourages her sons.

Anna can't help but notice how good Liam is with her daughters.  He goes out of his way to help her and though he has always liked her, he admires the creative woman of faith that she has become. But Anna has her secrets and fears, from her past that make her hesitate to love again.

Liam is my favorite, he is a worthy hero, kind, full of faith, and a man of action. He want's what is best for Anna and the girls.

This was a delightful read that brought a smile to my face. Enjoyable, and well written small town romance, with great characters, I enjoyed returning to Castle Falls. Definitely recommend.
