Cole Bishop is returning home to Serendipity, Texas, to raise his infant son while working as a wrangler on Redemption Ranch.
Redemption Ranch has a ministry month where troubled city kids are brought in to learn about horses and hardwork while addressing their problems. Tessa Applewhite is one of the counselors with the camp, she loves her jobs and works hard to connect with every single one of the kids.
Meanwhile the townsfolk of Serendipity are plotting ways to bring, Cole and Tessa together. Will they succeed?
Tessa and Cole have history together that makes spending time together awkward, but they are both wiling to work to get past in and move forward. They become friends and bonds over the children at the ranch and Grayson, Cole's son.
Overall, a well done, engaging read with characters that learned from their pasts, and are working towards stronger relationships with God and those around them. I loved everything about this story, great characters and full of heart.
