In Good Company by Jen Turano ~ Review

In Good Company (A Class of Their Own, #2)Lucie's Review:

Millie Longfellow is dedicated to self improvement, and carries a dictionary in her pocket, trying to add new words to her vocabulary, often with humorous results.

Everett mulberry is he guardian of three young children that are earning a reputation for being difficult as they have run off every nanny that he has hired so far. He's become so desperate that he hires Millie, a nanny who has been fired by almost every family in town.

The three children are led by the oldest, Elizabeth, who sews their clothing from drapes that even their brother Thaddeus wears. They love Everett, and don't play their tricks on him, but they do target his fiance, Caroline Dixon, likely because she wants to send them to boarding school as quickly as possible.

I loved how Millie won the children over, though her methods were unconventional she gained their respect and trust. Even convincing him to spend more time with them, getting to know them better.

Overall, I loved every minute of this fast paced, adventure from it's laugh out loud hilarious moments, to it's more serious and poignant parts. Filled with friendship and hilarious mishaps. That characters are well done and fit well with the style of storytelling. Highly recommend!
