Lucie's Review:
Joshua Stoltzfus has been a widower for four years, and struggles to raise his three children, so when his mother suggests that he marry again, Joshua is ready to take her advice. His mother even has someone in mind.
Rebekah Burkholder is recently widowed and has children of her own, and she is in a tight spot, she agrees to marry Joshua for her children's sake, even thought her first marriage was less than pleasant.
Will Joshua and Rebekah find their second chance at love?
I really liked Joshua and his children, he is a good man and father to his children, and he welcomes Sammy, Rebekah's son, but gives him time to accept him. Joshua's kids really like Sammy and accept him quickly as one of them.
Rebekah is very hardworking and sets to righting Joshua's home immediately. She quickly connects with Joshua's younger children, and helps provide insight into what his eldest, Timothy is going through.
Overall, this is a well written romance, and I liked how both Rebekah and Joshua both made an effort to make the best of their marriage, and give each other chances to get to know them as they are. A wonderful read with engaging characters, and a dramatic ending. Definitely a great read for fans of Amish romance!
