Lucie's Review:
Gina Perry is a K-9 dog trainer. When Gina discovers an intruder in her home, she runs for the training center, but what she finds there is even more disconcerting.
When Shane Weston and his dog Bella find the lead dog trainer murdered, Gina is the prime suspect with both motive and opportunity, but she insists that it her brother who is the killer. When her brother comes after her, Shane is assigned to be her protector, will he be able to keep her safe from her own flesh and blood?
I liked Shane from the first he is calm and reasonable, and he talks Gina out of running away. Shane is very responsible and takes his job seriously, he sees Gina in need and offers to help her. I also like how he is very serious about his beliefs and shares his faith with Gina, helping her reconnect with hers.
Overall, a fantastic read, with plenty of mystery and excitement along the way. I liked the way that this book really introduced me to so many new characters, and mysteries yet to be solved!
