Pilgrimage of a Promise by Cathy Bryant ~ Review

Pilgrimage of Promise (A Miller's Creek Novel-Book 4)Lucie's Review: A riveting, and poignant read.

Mona Beth and Bo fell in love when she was still a sophomore in high school and Bo was headed for college but his parent's disapproval and her sister's scheming are keeping them apart.
Now so many years later, they look back at what brought them to where they are today...

Such a well written book, I loved how well developed the characters were and how compelling they were. This was one of those books that was at times, hard to read, yet impossible to put down. There were hard times and they really had to depend upon their faith, especially Mona Beth.

I think I sympathized the most with Mona Beth, because after everything she went through she didn't have much in the way of material gains, whereas Bo seemed to have made more conscience decisions in his life, in my opinion.

Overall, this was such a great book had it had me cheering for Mona Beth and Bo the whole time. This book was heartbreakingly wonderful, with strong elements of faith. The characters were great, and this tale was nothing short of epic! Definitely a book I would highly recommend!

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
