Lucie's Review:
Rita is a Hollywood hairstylist who returns to her hometown upon news that her mother has suffered a stroke. Rita immediately sets to work bringing life back into her mother's hair salon. While in town she reconnects with old friends and makes new ones too in this heartwarming romance.
I liked Johnny from the start with his "Jolly Janitors" van, and the way that he meets Rita including a misunderstanding.
While this was a sweet tale, I felt that it was rather predictable as far as romances go, but would make for a cute Hallmark movie. I'm not sure if this book was intended, like this author's previous books, to be a Christian book or not, but it didn't have much to suggest that it was supposed to be one.
Overall, this was a sweet hometown romance, yet it saddened me that Rita didn't seem to spend much time with her mother. There were some great endearing side characters, and hometown feel. A nice little sweet romance :)

I could use a good Hallmark movie kind of book! Felt like I haven't read one in a while! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and am eager to read this one myself!
