Fast paced engaging storytelling that reaches and grabs you from the very beginning.

Reunited with the husband that she thought was dead, Jennie Beiler is shocked when Luke shows up at her door offering protection from her attacker. 

 I enjoyed the unique premise of this story, and how it all came together with it's consistently great pacing and great characters. LJ is so adorable and I love how he quickly adapts to everything going on, taking it as it comes, and welcoming Luke into his life. 

This book has all the right things going for it, with a original plot, a great balance of heartwarming and action packed, and fantastic characters. I loved watching Jennie and Luke get to know each other again, as well as how Luke is protective and devoted to keeping his newfound family safe. This was a satisfying read, heartwarming, suspenseful, and sweet. Definitely recommend!
