Bride Next Door by Winnie Griggs ~ Review

The Bride Next Door (Texas Grooms, #2)Lucie's Review:

Daisy Johnson is tired of traveling here an there with her drunkard father, and decides to escape and put down roots in Turnabout, Texas.
Everett is a British gentleman, and newspaper reporter who settles for a time in Turnabout. He has skeletons in his closet, and he's itching to move back to the big city, he's just waiting for his big break. But when Daisy moves into the other side of his duplex, a connecting door, and the town's gossip might just change things between them...

What a great book! I loved the characters and how they were brought together naturally by circumstances. One of my favorite characters was Abigail, Everett's sister who was spunky and enthusiastic.

Daisy and Everett had great dialogue together and I love how they came to appreciate each other.

Overall, this was such a fun book that really kept the pages turning. I loved every moment of it, I actually read this in one sitting! Highly recommend!

I received an ecopy of this book in return for an honest review. Thank you!
