Forensic photographer Leila Britton returns to her hometown and finds herself the target of the serial killer who killed her twin sister years before.
Leila and her young daughter go into hiding with the Amish, along with Lt. Brett Talbot as they fight to stay one step ahead of the killer. Action packed and suspenseful, there is good relationship building and dialogue. I liked how Brett bonded with Leila's daughter, and how he stepped up to protect them.
Engaging, and fast paced, I liked how the Amish babysitter welcomed them into her life, and how Leila and Brett's faith grows stronger through this ordeal. Thrilling suspense and strong faith. Definitely recommend!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
